The Famicom is the Japanese equivalent of the NES released in the US. For the top loader models however, the Famicom is slightly better as it has the AV multi out port in the back. US models only had an RF out from the factory. Very few AV NES top loaders exist.
This console only plays Japanese Famicom games out of the box. Adapters are available on the market but are sold separately and not included with this listing.
